Old Orchard Nursery recently participated in Mayor Michael Bloomberg's MillionTreesNYC program by selling trees to the City of New York that will be planted on city streets and in the parks. The goal of MillionTreesNYC is to plant one million trees throughout the five boroughs by the year 2017. This initiative was developed in an effort to reduce air pollution, cool temperatures and improve New York City's long term sustainability. We're proud to be a part of this program.
