Christine and Keith Scott Morton selected this 15-acre plot of land in 1999. The nursery site was chosen for its fine soil, and was established with the idea of preserving the land and continuing the tradition of farming on the North Fork of Long Island. Old Orchard Nursery specializes in native, maritime and hedging plant material.
